		<description>rock and roll its 2010 and the resolution on vertical alignment is still the same.  I come back to the topic every year or so looking for new more natural ways to vertical align (block content for which the height can sometimes be dynamic, which is exactly what CSS cant handle).  I like that with CSS I can create content and HTML that someone less knowledgeable of html layout can handle updating on their own.  So what I&#039;ve been using is javascript to handle vertical alignment.  its not nice but when the client needs to edit the content (and there is reason NOT to use a CMS) this is the only way to go.

I bet you that another 5 years from now when I dig into the topic again, CSS still wont have it right.</description>
